CCP Musical Youth
Our MissionThe CCP Musical Youth (MY) project uses the power of music to transform the lives of disadvantaged young people. We aim to help children and young people develop their skills, self esteem and confidence in a fun environment which provides them with opportunities and first class facilities they might not otherwise have access to. MY StudiosOur purpose-built, soundproofed studio is fully equipped with the latest technical equipment for music production and vocal recording, allowing young musicians to record their very own demo CDs. We have a wide range of facilities including Apple Mac laptops, industry-standard music production software, keyboards, drums, guitars and recording equipment. It is all available for in-house use or for outreach services. The PeopleDennis Seaton – CCP Musical Youth Patron and lead singer of 1980’s reggae band Musical Youth. CCP is grateful to Dennis for his support and for permitting us to use the "Musical Youth" title. Malaki Patterson – CCP Musical Youth Manager. Malaki is an industry-active music production engineer who controls day-to-day running of the MY Studios and the delivery of all music related activities.
