CCP offers a range of learning opportunities to prepare young people for a return to mainstream education and achieve up to GCSE equivalent qualifications, or, for school leavers, progression to post 16 training. We will create a bespoke package to complement any existing educational and support activities with which they are currently engaged. We work in partnership with other key individuals, agencies and parents to ensure the CCP Education Centre experience is positive, relevant and of benefit to all involved. Young people can be referred onto the programme via any route that can fund the cost of a place. Placements can range from a few hours to a full academic year.
We aim to:
Offer alternative opportunities to young people struggling to engage with mainstream education
Increase participation and attendance through creative and meaningful learning activities
Enhance self esteem and self awareness
Encourage positive behaviour and promote social inclusion
Meet the five “Every Child Matters” outcomes
Create personalised support networks involving parents and specialist agency partners
We can offer:
A flexible bespoke package of care, from a few hours to a full academic year
